Posted June 17, 20169 yr The name of some villagers does not correspond to the profession. This does not happens in vanilla. [Farmer - Fisherman - Shepherd - Fletcher] Farmer with the name of the Fisherman, Shepherd, Fletcher or Farmer Fisherman with the name of the Fisherman, Shepherd, Fletcher or Farmer Shepherd with the name of the Fisherman, Shepherd, Fletcher or Farmer Fletcher with the name of the Fisherman, Shepherd, Fletcher or Farmer [Armorer - Weapon Smith - Tool Smith] Armorer with the name of the Armorer, Weapon Smith or Tool Smith Weapon Smith with the name of the Armorer, Weapon Smith or Tool Smith Tool Smith with the name of the Armorer, Weapon Smith or Tool Smith [butcher - Leatherworker] Butcher with the name of the Butcher or Leatherworker Leatherworker with the name of the Butcher or Leatherworker They are with assorted names. Sometimes this right sometimes not. Summarizing the profession is one and the name is sometimes another. Sorry for my bad English
June 18, 20169 yr Testing locally it all works fine. They have different career levels so they have different names. What exactly are you seeing as your post makes it look like the names are lining up just fine... I do Forge for free, however the servers to run it arn't free, so anything is appreciated. June 18, 20169 yr I'm getting the same issue here too. For instance, villagers named as Butchers want to buy leather and sell leather pants, while villagers tagged as Leatherworkers want to buy raw pork and chicken. They're back-to-front. I've also seen the same mix ups with the Armorer, Weapon Smith & Tool Smith sub-classes. Their appearance is correct in that they have black robes, but they have trades from one of the other sub-classes (Armorers having the Tool Smith trades for example). I imagine it's the same deal with the Farmer, Fisherman, Shepherd & Fletcher too. Hope this helps.
June 18, 20169 yr Looking into it more I found the issue. The issue ISNT what the OP described it was simply that the display name was one career level higher then what they were. So 'Fisherman' was actually a 'Farmer' not that a 'Farmer' was everything else. If he had made that clear i would of known where to look.
