Won't install.

I tried both installers, and they say that it is installed in the launcher, but it does not show up in the drop down to set the version to. Note that this is not the default directory, and the version .json is there but not the vanilla version. I am attempting to install the reccomended version 12.18.1.2011. I have tried both installers but to no avail, however I have not tried the latest build of the installer.

What launcher are you using?

Our installers work fine.
