September 6, 20169 yr Your ModID must be all lowercase everywhere. Even after changing all occurences of nuclearWorkshop to nuclearworkshop except for the class file. The error is still the same with just a few W's replaced by w's. The item is in-game, but is just a broken texture
September 6, 20169 yr Did you change the folder name too? Apparently I'm a complete and utter jerk and come to this forum just like to make fun of people, be confrontational, and make your personal life miserable. If you think this is the case, JUST REPORT ME. Otherwise you're just going to get reported when you reply to my posts and point it out, because odds are, I was trying to be nice. Exception: If you do not understand Java, I WILL NOT HELP YOU and your thread will get locked. DO NOT PM ME WITH PROBLEMS. No help will be given.
September 7, 20169 yr Post your actual Client-Proxy. You pasted the ModItems class twice. Also previously known as eAndPi. "Pi, is there a station coming up where we can board your train of thought?" -Kronnn Published Mods: Underworld Handy links: Vic_'s Forge events Own WIP Tutorials.
September 7, 20169 yr Post your actual Client-Proxy. You pasted the ModItems class twice. Here it is. I am not entirely sure whether the rendering should take place during init or preinit, but I have tried it in both spots with the same result. package com.CubeStorm.nuclearworkshop.proxy; import com.CubeStorm.nuclearworkshop.init.ModItems; import com.CubeStorm.nuclearworkshop.proxy.CommonProxy; public class ClientProxy implements CommonProxy{ @Override public void preInit(){ ModItems.registerRenders(); } @Override public void init(){ } @Override public void postInit(){ } }
September 7, 20169 yr itemRender(magGlass,0,"ItemMagGlass.json"); HEAVY SIGH just use Item#getRegistryName(). It comes pre prefixed with your mod ID. You also don't need the ".json" the resource location class handles that for you already. September 7, 20169 yr It works now. I thank you and greatly appreciate your patience in dealing with us as we are clearly new to this.
