pickaxe_03 Posted September 11, 2016 Author Posted September 11, 2016 I went to the forge website, and selected the version of forge that matched the version of the game Im trying to play? Quote
LexManos Posted September 11, 2016 Posted September 11, 2016 What launcher are you using? Quote I do Forge for free, however the servers to run it arn't free, so anything is appreciated. Consider supporting the team on Patreon
pickaxe_03 Posted September 11, 2016 Author Posted September 11, 2016 yes the installer ran and completed successfully as far as I can tell, I received no errors. Quote
pickaxe_03 Posted September 11, 2016 Author Posted September 11, 2016 Ive tried with a program called multimc? that seemed popular, and I have tried with curse as well. Quote
pickaxe_03 Posted September 11, 2016 Author Posted September 11, 2016 My goal is to get one of the "newer" modpacks for mc to run. 1.8.9 1.9.4 and 1.10 versions have all failed to launch for the same reason so far. thanks for looking into this guys! Quote
LexManos Posted September 11, 2016 Posted September 11, 2016 This is caused by either having a corrupt install or using a broken launcher. Delete the libraries folder, reinstall Forge and use the vanilla launcher. Quote I do Forge for free, however the servers to run it arn't free, so anything is appreciated.
