Posted December 23, 201212 yr Hi! I want to make pickaxe which you can dig glass and glass pane and you get glass or glass pane, like Silk Touch enchantment. ItemTestPickaxe.java file: package Test.common; import net.minecraft.block.Block; import net.minecraft.block.material.Material; import net.minecraft.item.EnumToolMaterial; import net.minecraft.item.ItemPickaxe; import net.minecraft.item.ItemStack; public class ItemTestPickaxe extends ItemPickaxe { public ItemTestPickaxe(int par1, EnumToolMaterial par2EnumToolMaterial) { super(par1, par2EnumToolMaterial); } public String getTextureFile() { return "/test.png"; } public boolean canHarvestBlock(Block par1Block) { return par1Block == Block.glass; //How can I add here glass pane? } public float getStrVsBlock(ItemStack par1ItemStack, Block par2Block) { if(par2Block.blockID == Block.glass.blockID) { return 8F; } else return par2Block != null && (par2Block.blockMaterial == Material.iron || par2Block.blockMaterial == Material.rock) ? this.efficiencyOnProperMaterial : super.getStrVsBlock(par1ItemStack, par2Block); } } 1. How can I add glass pane to block which this pickaxe can dig? 2. How can I add effect like Silk Touch, but not enchantment? If you don't know how to add effect like Silk Touch, it maybe Enchantment. Ehh... People will cheat using Enchanting Plus.
December 24, 201212 yr try adding an @Override above the canHarvestBlock() and I am not sure about the glass pane but the hard id is 102 The Korecraft Mod
December 29, 201212 yr Author Kore thanks for help, but I added glass pane to the canHarvestBlock() other way. Code: public class ItemTestPickaxe extends ItemPickaxe { public ItemTestPickaxe(int par1, EnumToolMaterial par2EnumToolMaterial) { super(par1, par2EnumToolMaterial); } public String getTextureFile() { return "/test.png"; } public boolean canHarvestBlock(Block par1Block) { return par1Block == Block.glass && par1Block == Block.thinGlass; } public float getStrVsBlock(ItemStack par1ItemStack, Block par2Block) { if(par2Block.blockID == Block.glass.blockID || par2Block.blockID == Block.thinGlass.blockID) { return 7F; } else return par2Block != null && (par2Block.blockMaterial == Material.iron || par2Block.blockMaterial == Material.rock) ? this.efficiencyOnProperMaterial : super.getStrVsBlock(par1ItemStack, par2Block); } } I still don't know how to add enchantment (silk touch) to my pickaxe. Anyone know?
October 22, 201311 yr I found this on the Enchanted book. might help you. /** * Adds an stored enchantment to an enchanted book ItemStack */ public void addEnchantment(ItemStack par1ItemStack, EnchantmentData par2EnchantmentData) { NBTTagList nbttaglist = this.func_92110_g(par1ItemStack); boolean flag = true; for (int i = 0; i < nbttaglist.tagCount(); ++i) { NBTTagCompound nbttagcompound = (NBTTagCompound)nbttaglist.tagAt(i); if (nbttagcompound.getShort("id") == par2EnchantmentData.enchantmentobj.effectId) { if (nbttagcompound.getShort("lvl") < par2EnchantmentData.enchantmentLevel) { nbttagcompound.setShort("lvl", (short)par2EnchantmentData.enchantmentLevel); } flag = false; break; } } if (flag) { NBTTagCompound nbttagcompound1 = new NBTTagCompound(); nbttagcompound1.setShort("id", (short)par2EnchantmentData.enchantmentobj.effectId); nbttagcompound1.setShort("lvl", (short)par2EnchantmentData.enchantmentLevel); nbttaglist.appendTag(nbttagcompound1); } if (!par1ItemStack.hasTagCompound()) { par1ItemStack.setTagCompound(new NBTTagCompound()); } par1ItemStack.getTagCompound().setTag("StoredEnchantments", nbttaglist); } Hope this helps!
