Posted October 21, 20168 yr I'd like to spawn an Entity from a message. But it seems to get problems in smp because it's the network thread and not the server thread. Is there a way to get to the server thread from there, is there a command queue or something similar?

October 21, 20168 yr You need to use IThreadListener from the network thread to schedule a task to run on the main thread. Forge's documentation explains this here. Please don't PM me to ask for help. Asking your question in a public thread preserves it for people who are having the same problem in the future.

October 21, 20168 yr Gosh, if only those pages had an example on them. Something somthing player.getServerForPlayer something something. Apparently I'm a complete and utter jerk and come to this forum just like to make fun of people, be confrontational, and make your personal life miserable.
