I have this code

```
package me.thebeastgamer25.titaniumCraft.items;
import me.thebeastgamer25.titaniumCraft.Refrence;
import net.minecraft.item.Item.ToolMaterial;
import net.minecraft.item.ItemAxe;
import net.minecraft.util.ResourceLocation;
public class ItemTitaniumAxe extends ItemAxe {
public ItemTitaniumAxe(ToolMaterial material, String unlocalizedName) {
super(material);
this.setUnlocalizedName(unlocalizedName);
this.setRegistryName(new ResourceLocation(Refrence.MODID, unlocalizedName));
}
}
```

And I get this error:

java.lang.ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException: 5

Use the other constructor, the one that takes two floats because that one tries to look up your custom material in the tool material enum array where it doesn't exist.

There's only like 4000 other threads with your same problem on this forum going back several months.

Apparently I'm a complete and utter jerk and come to this forum just like to make fun of people, be confrontational, and make your personal life miserable.  If you think this is the case, JUST REPORT ME.  Otherwise you're just going to get reported when you reply to my posts and point it out, because odds are, I was trying to be nice.

Exception: If you do not understand Java, I WILL NOT HELP YOU and your thread will get locked.

DO NOT PM ME WITH PROBLEMS. No help will be given.

What version of MC are you modding for?

Because there should be:

protected ItemAxe(Item.ToolMaterial material, float damage, float speed)

Exactly this. When using ItemAxe, you need the damage and speed. Note, the damage is what you put, but whatever variable you put for speed, 4 is added to it. So, for the same speed and damage as a diamond axe, you should use -3. Here:

ItemAxe(example_tool_material, 9, -3

(And also, if the damage for a diamond axe is not 9, sorry!)
