Hello again!

So, I am completely redoing my 1.9.4/1.10.2 version of my mod, and I have come across a weird thing.

For rendering items, when I launch the game, the items render in really weirdly...

I remember someone telling me it was because I was using builtin/generated in my models, but how do I switch? This bug really bothers me, and I would love to fix it!

If I somehow help you, please click the "Thank You" button. If I am a total waste of time, please click the "Applaud" button.

You need to use item/generated instead of builtin/generated.

Can I LITERALLY just switch it in the JSON file? Or any coding changes I need to make?

Vanilla's implementation is in various places in ModelBakery (look for uses of ModelBakery.MODEL_GENERATED), but Forge replaces this with ItemLayerModel.

Please don't PM me to ask for help. Asking your question in a public thread preserves it for people who are having the same problem in the future.
