The import net.minecraftforge.fml

Recommended Posts

How do I import forge 1.11 into eclipse? I Downloaded the SDK for forge 1.11 and ran the gradlew.bat.  Then I opened eclipse and imported it. But I still can't use any of the forge imports? What did i do wrong?

The import net cannot be resolved

package com.example.examplemod;

import net.minecraft.init.Blocks;

import net.minecraftforge.fml.common.Mod;

import net.minecraftforge.fml.common.Mod.EventHandler;

import net.minecraftforge.fml.common.event.FMLInitializationEvent;

Could someone link me a tutorial? I Followed one for 1.7.10. Couldn't find one up to date. I Can't for the life of me import any of these imports.

How did you setup your workspace?

1.7.10 and older versions of Minecraft are no longer supported due to it's age! Update to the latest version for support.

If you look inside gradlew.bat, you'll see it is primed to execute something like "setupdecompworkspace" (check the capitalization). So follow the directions by typing "gradlew setupdecompworkspace" and "gradlew eclipse" in a command window.

The debugger is a powerful and necessary tool in any IDE, so learn how to use it. You'll be able to tell us more and get better help here if you investigate your runtime problems in the debugger before posting.
