hello i recently got minecraft 1.0.0 beta with my windows 10 pc and i am trying to install forge so i can mod  :D i have downloaded java and i still have problems running any forge download as it says there is no minecraft directory and i am new to pc gaming so im stuck as what to do so i can start modding!!! any help will be appreciated, thanks  ;)

    The version you want for your version of Minecraft

    Forge is not OS dependent.

     

    I do Forge for free, however the servers to run it arn't free, so anything is appreciated.
