Posted January 29, 20178 yr I have a block that overrides randomDisplayTick() in which I would like to spawn a custom particle. In past versions I think it had something to do with EntityFX, but I can't find that now. Am supposed to implement IParticleFactory? What do I do to create a custom particle?
January 30, 20178 yr Try looking at how vanilla blocks do it. Mind, it'll be a few calls down the method chain hierarchy, but it should at least be similar to what modders need to do. Apparently I'm a complete and utter jerk and come to this forum just like to make fun of people, be confrontational, and make your personal life miserable. If you think this is the case, JUST REPORT ME. Otherwise you're just going to get reported when you reply to my posts and point it out, because odds are, I was trying to be nice.
