I created some modding tutorials, my minecraftforum name is alexcouch. Here is a thread on my tutorials. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask here or even on my original thread.

Just something I noticed checking out your tutorials, I believe you should not be using getItemModelMesher to register your models anymore, I think it should be using ModelLoader.setCustomModelResourceLocation.

 

Just figured I'd mention it so you can show people the correct way of doing it. :)

I have found that these are both correct ways of doing so and I have gotten use to doing it this way, but I will update my tutorial to include both ways of approaching this. Thanks for the feedback!

any plans to finish it? - wanting to get into custom machines such as Custom Furnaces,Ginders and custom trees,biomes,worlds maybe even custom mobs and bosses but alas...one step at a time - im still on understanding tileEntities and once i get that down ill be going forward
