Just that, my buddy gets a timeout when he attempts to connect. I can connect fine, my ports are all forwarded. There is no error. We tried Hamachi, still no go. Tried redownloading and rebuilding the server from scratch. Still nothing. Nobody outside of my home network can connect.

2013-01-05 10:26:07 [WARNING] **** FAILED TO BIND TO PORT!

Port is forwarded, firewall is configured, etc. etc.

This is if I set the the server-ip in properties to my external IP.

That's the only bit of the log that is related to my issue. There are no other errors. My ports are being blocked despite being forwarded.

Check the firewall settings on both computers. Also, verify that this only happens with Forge installed and that it is not a vanilla issue.

There's an EAQ for a reason. Read it!

Oh, and logs OR IT DIDN'T HAPPEN!!

**** FAILED TO BIND TO PORT!

Means that you have another server running, you probably have another instance of the server running listening on a local address only.

I do Forge for free, however the servers to run it arn't free, so anything is appreciated.
