Forge 1.10 and 1.10.2 don't appear in list of selectable versions in the Minecraft Launcher

So I'm trying out a mod I've followed for awhile that has a version in 1.10, I by mistake was using the 1.11 version of Forge instead, so I go grab the installer for 1.10.2, open it, it says that 1.10.2 has been installed successful, I exit that and go to the Minecraft Launcher and it's not in the list in the drop down menu. I went back and installed 1.10, checked the list, not there. I have no idea why this is happening, installing 1.11 worked like a charm, like it always has. I even tried to make a new custom Launch option, but they aren't listed there. Does 1.11 supersede or something? It shouldn't as far as I understand.

Any help would be appreciated, I don't know what if anything I can provide to help find an answer, as this isn't your run of the mill crash.

Delete the 1.11 version forge profile first. Its not overriding it for some reason.

Apparently I'm addicted to these forums and can't help but read all the posts. So if I somehow help you, please click the "Like This" button, it helps.

The 'Forge' profile is just for convenience. You can select any version you want in the profile editing screen. Do that.

The install process hasn't changed in ages so you should be able to install both just fine.

I do Forge for free, however the servers to run it arn't free, so anything is appreciated.
