Seriously dude... There are only so many times we can say Minecraft Mods DO NOT WORK ON DIFFERENT MINECRAFT VERSIONS!

Where are these phantom mods? The only item in the mod folder is Optifine. If there's somewhere else that mods exist in the tree, tell me. Did you read the body of the last reply? I deleted the entire mods folder and made a new mods folder. The only thing I put in there was Optifine. I made sure there weren't hidden files. I'm not trying to be arrogant, I'm trying to understand. If there *is* another place the mods need to be deleted from, I'm not aware of it, and I'd be grateful if you told me how to fully uninstall these mods. Thank you for your time.

EDIT: I ask if there's another place where Forge looks for mods due to the fact that there was no other mods in the mod folder and somehow the fml-client-latest.log finds these mods that have long since been deleted.

THere is no 'other' place, it's loading from the default mods folder:  C:/Users/tkawasaki/AppData/Roaming/.minecraft/mods/OptiFine_1.7.10_HD_U_B4.jar

I'm still comfused. There is, at least visually nothing else in the mods folder besides the latest  Optifine .jar file. If there are hidden files, I don't see them either, I have show hidden files on. Is it possible that when it says that location, it means that it is trying to access that now, nonexistent location? Please explain.

What is the name of this "latest" optifine.jar, that you are using?
The latest I could find at the official webpage is OptiFine_1.11.2_HD_U_B7.jar

No. It exists, and it is loaded.

Are you sure that you downloaded the jar from the official webpage?

If not, could be somebody just renaming the 1.7 version to match 1.11, to troll.

Try deleting the mods folder again, but try and use the second-latest file.

I am very sure that I downloaded the official jar from the webpage. https://optifine.net/home, right?

Also, why would it work when there is nothing in that folder, but when I put the .jar folder for Optifine in it, it decided to not work? Shouldn't the same mods that supposedly are there also stop it from working?

Hes giving us the wrong log as they both have the same timestamp.

Delete the mods folder

Delete the Logs folder

and give us the new log.

you should go to the switch tab using the Alt and Tab keys make sure that you hold the keys down then click on Minecraft and it kinda refreshes it and it should appear if that doesn't work good luck fixing but if it works... I am not a failure in life :)

have fun!

Optifine is trying to do some stuff that your graphics card does not support, This isn't on us.

No idea, Optifine is one of the evil mods we reluctantly support. He edits a lot of Minecraft internals and hes closed source we have no idea what he is doing.

It's on him to be compatible with us.

    • When I first heard about Bitcoin back in 2018, I was skeptical. The idea of a decentralized, digital currency seemed too good to be true. But I was intrigued as I learned more about the technology behind it and its potential. I started small, investing just a few hundred dollars, dipping my toes into the cryptocurrency waters. At first, it was exhilarating to watch the value of my investment grow exponentially. I felt like I was part of the future, an early adopter of this revolutionary new asset. But that euphoria was short-lived. One day, I logged into my digital wallet only to find it empty - my Bitcoin had vanished without a trace. It turned out that the online exchange I had trusted had been hacked, and my funds were stolen. I was devastated, both financially and emotionally. All the potential I had seen in Bitcoin was tainted by the harsh reality that with decentralization came a lack of regulation and oversight. My hard-earned money was gone, lost to the ether of the digital world. This experience taught me a painful lesson about the price of trust in the uncharted territory of cryptocurrency. While the technology holds incredible promise, the risks can be catastrophic if you don't approach it with extreme caution. My Bitcoin investment gamble had failed, and I was left to pick up the pieces, wiser but poorer for having placed my faith in the wrong hands. My sincere appreciation goes to MUYERN TRUST HACKER. You are my hero in recovering my lost funds. Send a direct m a i l ( muyerntrusted ( @ ) mail-me ( . )c o m ) or message on whats app : + 1 ( 4-4-0 ) ( 3 -3 -5 ) ( 0-2-0-5 )
    • You could try posting a log (if there is no log at all, it may be the launcher you are using, the FAQ may have info on how to enable the log) as described in the FAQ, however this will probably need to be reported to/remedied by the mod author.
    • So me and a couple of friends are playing with a shitpost mod pack and one of the mods in the pack is corail tombstone and for some reason there is a problem with it, where on death to fire the player will get kicked out of the server and the tombstone will not spawn basically deleting an entire inventory, it doesn't matter what type of fire it is, whether it's from vanilla fire/lava, or from modded fire like ice&fire/lycanites and it's common enough to where everyone on the server has experienced at least once or twice and it doesn't give any crash log. a solution to this would be much appreciated thank you!
    • It is 1.12.2 - I have no idea if there is a 1.12 pack
