Every time I install FML (Forge Mod Loader) on a clean minecraft.jar it forces my sound and music to be on 0% and when I try to change it to any type of percentage it crashes my Minecraft or causes a BLACK SCREEN, can someone please help!

You're using a mac arnt you?

Install forge properly.

I do Forge for free, however the servers to run it arn't free, so anything is appreciated.

Yes I am actually haha, and i am really sorry to say this and I know you think of me as one of those people who don't read all of your installations but i actually did read all of it and I found out how to fix right before reading your post and it was that I installed paulscode over the original paulscode, and I thought Forge never had paulscode. :/ my bad

We include an additional codec, as long as your MERGE instead of OVERWRITE the folders, using whatever tools you use, it will work perfectly fine.

Still waiting on of the mac users to get off there bum and do up a tutorial for other mac users so this crap doesn't keep popping up.
