Posted June 5, 20178 yr Hi, I'm beginning a new mod and a feature I already have implemented is that you cannot conventionally craft sticks, so in the early game you have to get sticks from leaves. Because of this, I would like axes to be able to chop through leaves faster, but without creating a mod axe or mod leaves. I've read the source a little and found that Minecraft's ItemAxe class has a list of blocks that any axe can break faster, but I don't know how to add to this list. Thanks in advance for any help
June 5, 20178 yr setHarvestLevel("axe", 1); Apparently I'm a complete and utter jerk and come to this forum just like to make fun of people, be confrontational, and make your personal life miserable. If you think this is the case, JUST REPORT ME. Otherwise you're just going to get reported when you reply to my posts and point it out, because odds are, I was trying to be nice. Exception: If you do not understand Java, I WILL NOT HELP YOU and your thread will get locked. DO NOT PM ME WITH PROBLEMS. No help will be given.

That's my main goal, I understand how to make mod blocks be harvestable by certain tools, I just don't know how to make Blocks.LEAVES break faster from any ItemAxe
June 5, 20178 yr Yes, you can add it to vanilla leaves. Blocks.LEAVES.setHarvestLevel("axe", 1) is valid code.
