Hello,

So whenever I use Forge I get frame drops and slow world loading times. I don't use too many mods (I will provide a list below) and most mods are for PvP. But while playing my frames will go from around 70 or 80 to 1 or 0. I do not get this when using vanilla minecraft. I have searched for a solution however most have made no difference. I have tried multiple clean installs of different things, Optifine, allocating more RAM, testing different mods, setting higher process prioritory but to no avail. Please help because I do enjoy forge and find it works well in all other respects but this frame lag is really letting me down.

Thank you!

Mods I use:

Hypixel Autotip

5 zig

Oranges Simple Mod

Oranges 1.7 animations

Hypixel Autocomplete

Which version of Minecraft are you using?

Does this happen without any mods installed (just Forge)?

Upload the FML log (logs/fml-client-latest.log in the game directory) from a session where this framerate drop occurs to Gist and link it here.

I only just increased my minecraft to 8GB of RAM yesterday (when I started this thing) as a test. I had it at 4GB previously, is that too much? With the 4GB however the lag was much worse. Maybe I'll try 3GB.

Changed it to 3GB and now it just crashes, I will try 2 now,

So it's now at 2GB, I had to reinstall forge to get it working and I set the ram to 2GB. I still have the lag albeit its not bad as before I don't think. Anymore suggestions?

I am using minecraft 1.8.9, I still get the lag without any mods and I'm not sure if its the right thing though. https://gist.github.com/BazzaBlogz/eaabdc0ab03557ab4e8f1222a6c1c747

That's not the full FML log, that's the console output.

It does show that this error is happening multiple times a second:

The server is sending invalid chunk data, which could be the cause of the framerate drops.

I don't think there's much you can do about this, apart from telling the server to fix the issue or playing on a different server.

Please post the actual FML log from a session where you experienced the issue, gave Minecraft 2 GB or RAM and didn't have any mods installed (apart from Forge).

Like Choonster already said, the server you are playing on is sending invalid world data. The server is broken, you need to talk to the server owner.

If thats the case then why without forge is my fps not affected? Although I have made a report on the server website.

It does happen in singleplayer however only once for aboust 10 seconds so I think the singleplayer is just my computer and the server is Hypixel.

Alright guys I think I'm just going to have to stop using forge I mean i don't get in vanilla so I'll just have to play without mods or use Labymod, illegal on Hypixel : ( Thanks for the suggestions guys but I think me and forge are done. However I will still watch this thread if a solution is found.
