Ok, I'm porting my old mod from 1.8 to 1.12 and I want to know what is the new alternative to 

"C08PacketPlayerBlockPlacement".

I tried it with 

Minecraft.getMinecraft().player.connection.sendPacket(/* This part is missing and I don't know what to put in here */);

Please tell me the alternative.

Looking at the methods where C08PacketPlayerBlockPlacement was used (PlayerControllerMP#onPlayerRightClick and PlayerControllerMP#sendUseItem), it's been replaced by CPacketPlayerTryUseItemOnBlock (sent by PlayerControllerMP#processRightClickBlock when the player right clicks a block) and CPacketPlayerTryUseItem (sent by PlayerControllerMP#processRightClick when the player right clicks air).

I'm trying to place a block

Then just call setBlock with appropriate parameters.

Or you require the player to place the block? Then there should be relevant methods.
