hello all!

how would one go about adding an item to a chest without using forge's hooks?

and if there is no possible way, then how would i add only ONE item at a time?

    If you're generating the chest yourself its easy.. just grab the tle entity and add items to it.

    If you're trying to add it to one of the standard world gen chests, well, use the hooks, thats what they are there for.

    I do Forge for free, however the servers to run it arn't free, so anything is appreciated.

    No, I did not, I specifically said one of the standard world gen chests. Meaning the chests that minecraft generates in the world by default -.- Not shit you make.
