Using latest forge 2461 the recipe book doesn't seem to be working properly on multiplayer only. If i make a local server, everything works fine. Look at the image I uploaded, if I click on the craft table everything just gets removed as if nothings there. Is there a server option I'm missing? This started happening after upgrading to 1.12.1, I did this for Vivecraft. I have a clean forge server with no mods, so no issue there. 

There is nothing there. You need to click on the crafting table in the book one more time or manually place planks into the grid. At least this is how it works for me.

Look at the pic I have. This is after clicking craft table in recipe book, the recipe is shown but all in red as if I don't have the items. 

 

I can manually add the items for crafting, no problem there. But I can't just click and drag the craft table out as I can in vanilla. Keep in mind this only happens with half the items in recipe book. I can make sticks but no torches. I can make redstone from redstone block but not a redstone block from redstone. I was able to craft the planks properly by clicking in recipe book... but the craft table results in the above picture.

[Edit] Read the image wrong, There was a recient change to make Planks Oredict. This is most likely the cause i'll look into it some more.

Planks oredict? Keep in mind it's an issue not with just planks.

Fixed just like that...? Damn you guys work fast. Thank you so much. Is the fix just planks or all craftable items with this issue? 

Should be all OreDict recipes. The issue was 1.12.1 removed the SideOnly from a method. And I missed it in ours. So it was using the default implementation which matched nothing. Nothing complicated.

Glad to hear. I'll keep an eye out for next update then.
