I would like to run some mods on the server only, but this still requires the client to install FML. So a config option to disable the "Require FML on client" would be great! :)

It cannot be done due to various technical reasons.

Read the EAQ before posting! OR ELSE!

 

This isn't building better software, its trying to grab a place in the commit list of a highly visible github project.
