[1.12.2] Changing vanilla blocks

Hello,

I want to make a mod that would change the texture of some vanilla blocks by the server. For example: Some stones would have a classic texture, but some would have a different texture that the server would send to the client when it was connected.

I still do not know how to change these textures. 

Is there anything like my idea, or does anyone know how to do this without having to rewrite classes in minecraft?

 

My cient is forge but my server is not (It's edited Spigot because I do not want anyone to use other mods with this mod.)

    What you're asking for doesn't make any sense at all.

     

    The server doesn't know anything about textures.

     

    And if the server isn't Forge, then there's no Forge mod you can make that will affect anything on the server.

    Apparently I'm a complete and utter jerk and come to this forum just like to make fun of people, be confrontational, and make your personal life miserable.  If you think this is the case, JUST REPORT ME.  Otherwise you're just going to get reported when you reply to my posts and point it out, because odds are, I was trying to be nice.
