NoSuchField Error when using a mod as an API?

So I'm working on an addon mod for a smaller mod. I've got the environment working fine, and I can reference classes from the main mod. Once I try to run it, the game crashes with the following error:

The error is coming from the main mod itself, which I don't really understand. I've talked to the devs of the mod and the most they can offer me is that there's an obfuscation problem somewhere.

This isn't in the code you supplied. Your code is in com.natura.minestuckarsenal.item

Yes. As I said, that's the main mod I'm using as an API. It seems like an obfuscation error when the game loads, but I can't figure out why.

There is nothing wrong with your code.

There is no change you can make in your code that will make this error go away.

I am in contact with the devs. What exactly would have to change for this to work? Their mod works fine on its own.
