{Disclaimer: I am putting this in General because I don't want to bother Forge devs with troubleshooting an old version of Forge. The help forums even say this will get my thread locked, so I might as well just not. Hoping someone here might still be able to help me.}

 

Greetings, so I've made a bit of a custom little modpack (no technic or anything, just a raw mods folder install) to play with my friends on my server. Me and two of my friends have gotten into the server, but the third one's Forge doesn't seem to be loading the mods at all. I've even gone as far as to send her my entire minecraft install directly, which is what ended up working for friend nr. 2, but it didn't work for her. Using her Forge profile, it just goes to vanilla minecraft. Sadly she is asleep right now so I wasn't able to ask her wether or not her menu has a mods section or whatever, (aka wether or not logging into forge is actually loading forge). It's really weird too, because when she got my entire MC directory and she ran the exe file, my profiles didn't show up for her either, as I had already created one for 1.7.10 and one for forge 1.7.10. This appears to have worked for friend nr. 2 though, so there is some real inconsistency going on. She has tried everything from first installing, then a clean install, then grabbing literally my whole .minecraft

 

Any idea of what's going on would be a great help. I think I'm gonna try to create a custom technicpack next, as she has been able to run B-team and Tekkit before.

It doesn't matter where you ask, old versions are not supported on Forge's forums, update to 1.12.2
