[1.12] Error log related to block extenting BlockWallSign

Hi guys,

I have a block that extends BlockWallSign, and I want it to render the exact same way. It works fine.

However, I get this in my logs at startup:

[10:47:36] [main/ERROR] [FML/]: Exception loading model for variant millenaire:panel#facing=east for blockstate "millenaire:panel[facing=east]"

The Minecraft block doesn't seem to have a model, it doesn't need one since the rendering is handled by the entity. Why does forge attempt to load one for mine? Can I stop that behaviour?

Thanks!

You have a missing variant. Post your code (Block class and blockstate file).

Don't PM me with questions. They will be ignored! Make a thread on the appropriate board for support.

1.12 -> 1.13 primer by williewillus.

1.7.10 and older versions of Minecraft are no longer supported due to it's age! Update to the latest version for support.

Post the entire log, the actual error is almost always not the first one. There might be a second instance of the error with a different "Caused by:..." line. " MissingVariantException" is pretty much always triggered.
