Hello, I'm having trouble getting mods to work, you see the "mods" folder isn't there and when I make one it doesn't seem to work. I have 2 mods installed correctly however I can't remember how I did it. I'm using Windows 10 and have the correct Forge and updated Forge. Any help is appreciated as I have been trying for two days now.

I installed Forge on this very site and I'm using the Minecraft launcher which I pinned to my task bar for easier accessibility.

If the 'mods folder is not there' then you are looking for the mods folder in the wrong place.

Specify exactly where you're going, and exactly how you're starting the game.

Provide your relevent log files as they will tell you this.

I went to files, looked at the windows option (First Box) and pressed Installer. Happy now? The  logs tell me nothing. And I've looked for the Folder "Windows button R %appdata%" is how you access the Minecraft folder correct? All I know about starting the game is I pressed "Pin to task bar" and then I click the little grass block. I know what you're saying but I don't know how to answer it.

Well, a window opens with soem Minecraft screenshots. I set the Play button to Forge Play Button.

The Play button's Defualt is just Minecraft then Play.

Unfortunately for whatever reason Forge doesn't appear however I can assure you I have forge downloaded as I am also playing with two other mods.

I see all of my other games and such but not Forge. The folder isn't there

For games the only thing I see is Fortnite. Nexus Mod manager is there though. Folder is This Pc/Local Disc Programn files. I also did another thing to try and get into which is (Windows+R shell:games)

But the only thing there is D&B Online.

Sorry for the long/cut off replies I'm trying to play Overwatch whilst also doing this.

Is the Forge Installer ok? If not where is the Launcher .(In the folders)

Listen, all I want is a mod I'm just following your instructions I don't even know what all this is supposed to do so most of the time I don't have half a clue what I'm saying.

I have all that done how'd you think I already have two mods!?

I go into .minecraft and makes a new folder then label it "mods"

Show screenshots of your profile settings.

Show screenshots of everything you're looking at.

To make sure you're in the proper MC folder, Start minecraft, go to options -> resource packs -> open resource pack folder.

That'll be in your Minecraft Dir.

Its a simple thing, you're not running the game where you think you're running the game.

Reality, it a complete copy and paste of what appeared.

And Lex i says that the folder is empty and there there is now back arrow appearing.
