Setting up a server

So one of my friends just let me setup a minecraft server on his server box. Its a great server but I don't know how to actually put any plugins or anything in it. I have the server running it has the mods and it works but I don't know how to add in commands such as /home or /rtp or tpa. I was hoping to set this server up as a decent size server as it has 12G of ram with SSDs for storage. Any help with setting up plugins or commands would be great.

Those are added by mods. You can't add them without a mod.

what server side mod is that? cause its not something in the modpack.

Youll have to find the mods that add the commands you want for yourself. /home and /tpa are usually included in the essentials mod.
