i just spent about an hour jumping around on threads on the thaumcraft issues and was unable to find anything useful.  can anyone help me figure out of this crash is a mod conflict or something els that i can fix?

The only official source for Forge is https://files.minecraftforge.net, and the only site I trust for getting mods is CurseForge.

If you use any site other than these, please take a look at the StopModReposts project and install their browser extension, I would also advise running a virus scan.

Chisel is hacking into internals of Forge, it needs to stop doing that.

 

Either update chisel, or if there isnt a update yell at the author to stoop doing bad things.

I do Forge for free, however the servers to run it arn't free, so anything is appreciated.
