Well, my entities, like in this case my so-called Bokoblin (Based on the red Bokoblin in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild), don't drop anything. and I DON'T KNOW WHY. So here is the code.

Is there any error in the console related to loading the loot table?

 

When I copy your loot table into a JSON verifier (https://jsonlint.com/) it seems you have some extra characters in your file that are causing trouble. Just go to that link, paste in your JSON text, and hit the validate button and you'll see the errors.

here is how i set up my loottable resource location:

i do have it in a loottable handler but it will probably work outside of one

No. This is not how java works. register is a static method. You do not need a new instance of LootTableList to register your loot table.

Don't include the loot_tables folder in your resource path when registering the table, mc does that for you.
