Heavily Modded Minecraft Freezes at Building Terrain

I'm using Forge v1.12.2-14.23.4.2739 for Minecraft 1.12.2. I have 8 gigs of Ram allotted to minecraft with ~280 mods installed (including libraries). I know that's a lot it's basically me picking and choosing from the All The Mods 3 pack. The game loads up fine and gets to the main menu but then when I try to generate a world it goes to Loading World then eventually Building Terrain but gets stuck there.

I've already Re-Installed minecraft, forge and java, to no avail. I've also tried some basic fixes like lowering rendering distance.

Please if anyone could help me out with this it would be much appreciated. I've spent a lot of time getting these mods together and I really want it to work. If I have to drop a few mods to get this to work thats fine too.
