Animate Custom Block Models

Hey There,

I have looked around a little bit, but nothing was really clear. I am trying to make a Custom Block Model animate when an item is put into its input slot, and stop animating when the item is transferred, or smelted, or whatever, into the output slot. Does anyone have any 1.12.2 tutorials, or can help me? Thanks!

Do you have a tile entity? How dynamic are your models/textures

You should use the Animation System, I have a tutorial about this on this forum it is here. It explains how to use it, hopefully decently well. If you have any questions ask.
