Crash at title screen, Forge 1.12.2 (Operand stack overflow)

Currently running forge-14.23.4.2765 for a custom modpack. After making adjustments to remove a few unwanted mods, the client now crashes after startup, once it clears to the title screen.
I am using the twitch launcher/client to manage my mods. This having gotten the better of me this morning, and as one of my first forays into trying to slap together a proper modpack, I would like some insights into what went wrong and how it could be fixed.

My best guess is that your problem comes from SmoothWaterCore.

I'll pull that one out and see what happens.

 

Alright, I gave it a try and no change. It still crashed with the same error when It reaches the title screen.

Thankyou Cadiboo! This seems to have fixed it, on first load. I'll give it a few more tests and see if it holds.

Start your own thread, don’t hijack someone else’s. Why would better foliage be the cause of your issue?

In your new thread please post:

- Your entire debug log (use GitHub Gist) as described in my signature (the text below all of my posts)

- If your modding, any relevant code (as a GitHub Repository)
