Posted October 30, 20186 yr Heylo, So I've got an item 'with Container' that is used in crafting and is supposed to be consumed when the durability reaches 0. The item does get damage but when it reaches durability 0 it still returns itself one more time and crashes when you take out the result of (saw + log). Example is showed in below picture. https://imgur.com/a/xNrDu7O package almightyelement.AeAddon.init.items; import almightyelement.AeAddon.init.ItemInit; import net.minecraft.item.Item; import net.minecraft.item.ItemStack; public class CustomItem extends Item { private ItemStack emptyItem = null; private static int maxDamage = 128; public CustomItem(String name) { super(); setMaxStackSize(0); setNoRepair(); setMaxDamage(128); setUnlocalizedName(name); setRegistryName(name); } public boolean doesContainerItemLeaveCraftingGrid(ItemStack itemStack) { return false; } @Override public boolean getShareTag() { return true; } public boolean hasContainerItem(ItemStack itemStack) { return true; } public ItemStack getContainerItem(ItemStack itemStack) { itemStack.setItemDamage(itemStack.getItemDamage() + 1); ItemStack stack = itemStack.copy(); if (stack.getItemDamage() == 129){ return emptyItem; } else{ return stack; } } }
