Where did you download this from? There are no public releases of Forge for 1.13.x yet, and Forge is only being developed for 1.13(.0) at the moment.

Please don't PM me to ask for help. Asking your question in a public thread preserves it for people who are having the same problem in the future.

What do you mean "the forge version"? The only place you should download Forge from is the official Files site (https://files.minecraftforge.net/). There are no 1.13.x versions available there.

Versions below 1.14.4 are no longer supported on this forum. Use the latest version to receive support.

When asking support remember to include all relevant log files (logs are found in .minecraft/logs/), code if applicable and screenshots if possible.

Only download mods from trusted sites like CurseForge (minecraft.curseforge.com). A list of bad sites can be found here, with more information available at stopmodreposts.org

No. Each version of Forge only supports a single version of Minecraft and won't work on any other version.

It has you install a bunch of garbage and then installs forge 1.12.2. Caveat emptor!

This is my Forum Signature, I am currently attempting to transform it into a small guide for fixing easier issues using spoiler blocks to keep things tidy.

 

As the most common issue I feel I should put this outside the main bulk:

The only official source for Forge is https://files.minecraftforge.net, and the only site I trust for getting mods is CurseForge.

If you use any site other than these, please take a look at the StopModReposts project and install their browser extension, I would also advise running a virus scan.

 

For players asking for assistance with Forge please expand the spoiler below and read the appropriate section(s) in its/their entirety.

According to [Link Removed]   There is 1.13.2 Forge download, but it really isn't, I have tried it. This installs 1.12.2 version.

Locking because there is literally nothing new on this topic, just more of the same.

 

Forge for 1.13.X does not have a release yet and unscrupulous websites will say anything to get you to click their download button and/or look at their ads.

 

At this time (1/24/19) there are test builds for 1.13 available in a non-standard location on the files site , however these are TEST builds, though we invite you to report bugs you find in these builds please back up your worlds beforehand and try to do some research before reporting bugs, try to be informative about what you were doing when the bug occurred without telling a story, and PLEASE include logs, especially if it is a crash bug.
