Posted January 2, 20196 yr Hi, I was programming my 1.12.2 mod, when I thought of a question. field_71434_R is a field that determines if Minecraft has crashed I believe. (Unless if I am wrong). If I were to use this field, would I do this in an if statement? if (field_71434_R) { // Some Code Here } (Assuming field_71434_R means hasCrashed, which I think is boolean. Correct me if I am wrong)
January 2, 20196 yr Author Like where do I find a website or wiki on how to use these fields or functions? (http://export.mcpbot.bspk.rs/)
January 2, 20196 yr Do you want the proper, renamed fields? Set up a decompWorkspace then. Currently, you're using the searge names, which are something like field_*****, param_*****, or method_*****. I am a human and this action was performed manually. Please contact Frontear if you have any questions or concerns.
January 2, 20196 yr Author I did set up decompWorkspace, however, field_71434_R represents asCrashed, and when I type asCrashed into eclipse, it says its wrong.
January 2, 20196 yr This field has been named hasCrashed in the latest MCP mappings, so you should update your mappings to stable_39 (the final mappings version for 1.12). The MCPBot website you linked earlier explains what you need to change in your build.gradle to do this (click on the stable_39 dropdown button and then click "Use in ForgeGradle"). There's no wiki that explains what each field/method does, the closest thing would be the Javadocs of Vanilla fields/methods provided by MCP. These are included in the source code attached to the forgeSrc dependency when you run setupDecompWorkspace. Like field/method names, Javadocs are contributed by the community using MCPBot; so they may not always be 100% accurate or up-to-date. Please don't PM me to ask for help. Asking your question in a public thread preserves it for people who are having the same problem in the future.
