My Google Chrome doesn't trust Forge :/

I am hoping to get Minecraft mods on my mac, so I'm currently trying to download Forge. But when I go on the Forge website and download, and the download shows up on the bottom of my screen, Chrome tells me it might be "malware" and apparently comes from an unidentified developer, and could be harmful to my laptop, and so it can't let me download Forge. Even when I made it download Forge anyway, I got warnings from Chrome and my laptop telling me I shouldn't download it for the same reasons, but gave me instructions if I still wanted to open Forge. 

It did kinda worry me, and I'm wondering if Chrome was actually onto something. I want to check everything is okay and safe before I download Forge! Just in case there is a problem and my laptop will be damaged.

Make sure you are actually downloading the Forge file and not some random files from ads on the download page.

If you are sure you've downloaded the correct file, then you can open it.

1. Do not follow tutorials on YouTube, especially TechnoVision (previously called Loremaster) and HarryTalks, due to their promotion of bad practice and usage of outdated code.

Chrome has a stupid detection system where it uses public votes {By tracking everything you download} and a arbitrary number before 'trusts' downloads.

You can test this by downloading anything Google produces {I tested with Chrome's installer} and uploading it to any site.

It'll warn you when you download it that it is potentially dangerous.

There is literally nothing we can do about Chrome/Firefox being stupid. So just be sure that you're downloading from our official site only: http://files.minecraftforge.net/ and if you do then you're fine.

I do Forge for free, however the servers to run it arn't free, so anything is appreciated.

      Hey, sorry I haven't said anything in a while. I was banned on here for sending you straight up crash logs and they banned me for spam... but I learned that these forums are for forge only and I was working with neoforge... but thank you for all the help.

      Ok i check and this is real axioM, BUT i have seen strange thing when mods less then 100 is working great but when its more then 100, i got crash   i realy need this mod can i some how fix it? or only delete axiom

      I am in 1.20.1, and I have about 50 mods, I'd say. But for some reason, the search bar broke at some point. It's a real pain to search for a certain object..
