Hi,

my friend and I started a server today for Sky Factory 4 and after playing for about 4 hours, we keep getting "server can't keep up, tick delay" and then after about 20 minutes the server crashes.

I tried to google how to resolve this issue but can't really find anything and I don't really understand what the crash is.

Post your installer log, found in the same place you ran the installer

This log will be called either installer.log or named the same as the installer but with .log on the end

Note for Windows users:

Windows hides file extensions by default so the installer may appear without the .jar extension then when the .log is added the log will appear with the .jar extension

Where to get it:

Mojang Launcher: When using the Mojang launcher debug.log is found in .minecraft\logs.

Curse/Overwolf: If you are using the Curse Launcher, their configurations break Forge's log settings, fortunately there is an easier workaround than I originally thought, this works even with Curse's installation of the Minecraft launcher as long as it is not launched THROUGH Twitch:

  Hey, so me and my friends have been playing together on a modded Minecraft server for a few days now. Everything was working fine. But suddenly one of my friends' games crashed and now his game crashes every time he tries to join his previously created singleplayer world or the server. We can see that he's joining, and for him it looks like he's joined for a second, but nothing loads and then the game immediately freezes and crashes. If he creates a new singleplayer world, it does not crash. We haven't changed anything and it works fine for me and my other friend. We did some more testing and found that he could join as long as nothing from our base was loaded. As soon as he placed a cogwheel from the Create mod, the game immediately crashed. Other blocks from other mods were fine, even Create blocks like train doors. He has already reinstalled Minecraft (and completely deleted the .minecraft folder), updated drivers, restarted his PC and reset the shader cache. We updated all mods and restarted the server. He removed all shader/texture packs, as well as Embeddium, Oculus, Distant Horizons and other unnecessary client-side mods He also manually installed Java 17 It's really frustrating because the logs don't seem to contain any fatal errors or anything, there's no crash report generated either. The log just stops suddenly at the crash.
