Edit: trying to download forge for minecraft update 1.14

So never downloaded or messed with modding before, and I realize I'm prolly a fucking smoothbrain but every single time I download the FORGE installer or universal theres no .exe file in the folder.. Every guide I look up shows a Forge Installer exe and I'm just wondering what I could be doing wrong, as I'm downloading from the official website. Any help is much appreciated thanks so much in advance beautiful people

    the installer jar is a executable jar. Run it with java.

    I do Forge for free, however the servers to run it arn't free, so anything is appreciated.
