Deleted Usercache and Usernamecache in server due to JSON related crash. Players lost all inventory data

I have several backups of the world but the loss of inventory seems to be related to those 2 json files since restoring the backups did not revert inventories to how the previously were. Restoring the json files i deleted from the recycling bin didn't work either. Is all inventory data deleted, or can I restore it? Thanks in advance.
