The docs / tuts are outdated on this, there is no longer an ItemBlock class. I already made a block state json which references a vanilla item as a model, and I already did the following :

@Mod.EventBusSubscriber(bus=Mod.EventBusSubscriber.Bus.MOD)
    public static class RegistryEvents {

        @SubscribeEvent
        public static void registerBlocks(final RegistryEvent.Register<Block> event) {

            LOGGER.info("HELLO from Register Block");

            event.getRegistry().registerAll(

            	BlockList.flint_stone = new Block(Block.Properties.create(Material.IRON)).setRegistryName(location("flint_stone"))
            );
        }

 		private static ResourceLocation location(String name) {

        	return new ResourceLocation("mymod", name);
        }
}

Basically this block is going to break into a vanilla item, and that will be used to place it as a block as well. Just need to know how to do that now, thanks.

All the prefixes became postfixes. Its BlockItem now, not ItemBlock.

(BlockDirt -> DirtBlock : ItemBlock -> BlockItem)

Apparently I'm a complete and utter jerk and come to this forum just like to make fun of people, be confrontational, and make your personal life miserable.  If you think this is the case, JUST REPORT ME.  Otherwise you're just going to get reported when you reply to my posts and point it out, because odds are, I was trying to be nice.

Exception: If you do not understand Java, I WILL NOT HELP YOU and your thread will get locked.

DO NOT PM ME WITH PROBLEMS. No help will be given.

I have no input over there. I can't tell what the problem is.
