cant uninstall forge 1.13.2 from the launcher

i cannot uninstall the minecraft forge 1.13.2 from the launcher, i have tried deleting the 1.13.2 forge folder, and just deleting the versions folder all together nothing seem sto work, and i just want to install forge 1.12.2 but i cant while 1.13.2 is in my launcher.

You can install multiple versions they do not interfere with eachother. as long as you have different game directories in your profile.

 

However, deleting the version folder IS "uninstalling" forge as that's all forge does, stick a few files in libraries, and a few in the versions folder.

but even though it is deleted and 1.12.2 forge is downloaded, i can only see the 1.13.2 forge in the launcher

not the 1.12.2

Make sure you only download forge from our web site. And then post your installer logs/screenshots.

 

If you're using legit downloads then it will install correctly.

Also make sure you're looking in the actual version list and not the installation list.
