Okey, Ive got pull request but I cant insert last pieces, patches dont generate.

I made folder src_work, put the World.java (What I edited), ChunkCache.java (What I edited also) into it.

Recompiled.

Used update_patches.py.

AND:

scaled.php?server=193&filename=updatepatcheserror.png&res=landing

Note:

I had used before editing setup.bat.

It cant find the diff executable, make sure you have it.

If you can't figure it out you shouldnt be submiting patches, thats how ive always dealt with things like this.

I do Forge for free, however the servers to run it arn't free, so anything is appreciated.

Get diff.exe from the gnu32 utilities and put it in the right area?  I use a better OS that comes with diff so I am unsure where that area is on Windows, but the error messages or code may lead you to it.

use update_patches.bat not .py

Im running .bat for now, Im also using Windows7, gonna get diff.exe then...

Got it from here.

But when I look into .patch file there is this:

diff: unrecognized option `--strip-trailing-cr' diff: Try `diff --help' for more information.

Help now?

Your pwd is the forge directory?  You are running the install.bat file?  I have no clue if sharpdiff is gnu compliant.  Better to use the gnu32 windows utilities diff instead.

Someone said me that there are couple ones in bin folder at the github.

Got it fixed.

Also Ive been now happily once again on irc for 3days (started using irc again :)) and suddenly today morning I try to go on I get this:

[10:04] == #minecraftforge Cannot join channel (+b) - you are banned

My esper.net username is: tambre

Do you use the web client?  All web clients were banned (use a real IRC program instead) due to the huge amount of spam and other irritations coming from it.

What IRC client you suggest me to use?

Ive been using web IRC cause they look more comfortable...

  • Author

esper.net IRC client seems most comfortable, been using that for 5months now...

Me and many my friends have been using the esper.net IRC client no problems so far, currently not encountering the error so at all possibilitys ill try to keep using esper.net IRC client - most comfortable.

Im running Windows.

So at any chance will I be allowed to use esper.net IRC? (the web one)
