1.14.4 Forge Not Loading Mods

So I downloaded Forge 1.14.4 from this site, and have been trying to add a few mods to it. I added "True Darkness (1.14.4)," "Optifine (1.14.4)," and "WorldEdit (1.14.4)." I tried them all together as well as one at a time, and have tried restarting the game multiple times but when I go into the mods section of the main menu, no mods show up. I have tried redownloading the mods as well as forge. The only things showing up in the mods section is Minecraft and Forge, but no actual mods. When I press the "Open Mods Folder" button from in the mods section of the main menu it opens the folder where I had already put the mods (Appdata:Roaming:.minecraft:mods), and shows all of my mods in the folder, but not actually in the game.
