Whenever I run the Forge.jar I am getting this error message and dont know what to do..

We appear to be missing one or more essential library files.
You will need to add them to your server before FML and Forge will run successfully.java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: net.minecraft.launchwrapper.Launch

How did you install Forge?

This is my Forum Signature, I am currently attempting to transform it into a small guide for fixing easier issues using spoiler blocks to keep things tidy.

As the most common issue I feel I should put this outside the main bulk:

The only official source for Forge is https://files.minecraftforge.net, and the only site I trust for getting mods is CurseForge.

If you use any site other than these, please take a look at the StopModReposts project and install their browser extension, I would also advise running a virus scan.

For players asking for assistance with Forge please expand the spoiler below and read the appropriate section(s) in its/their entirety.

I downloaded the Installer, choosed install server then I tried to run the forge jar which didnt work so I tried the vanilla jar. Vanilla works perfectly but Forge still gives me the same error message.

1) You need to use the installer and make sure you run the jar in the correct folder. If it can't find the extra libraries it means that the libraries folder is missing.

2) You're running with Java 9+ this will not work for the version of Forge you're trying to run. Use Java 8

I do Forge for free, however the servers to run it arn't free, so anything is appreciated.

1) Where can I download them?

2) I figured out myself that I am using the incorrect Java version but I cannot figure out how to install Java 8 probably. I got the folder but it is not recognised by Java as a version.
