Forge wont work

Whenever i try to launch forge versions, it says
 

Failed to download file.
Name: forge-1.8.9-11.15.1.2318-1.8.9.jar and other stuff

 

and my forge folder only has a JSON file, no jar or anything. (I tried reinstalling and it worked just fine before.)

Can anyone tell me how to fix this?

Tried reinstalling again, says libraries can't be downloaded. any help with this?

I have the same issue. I didn't found a fix so far. It seems to be an issue with the Twitch-launcher.

The only solution I'm forced to use is to download a modpack with the wished Forge version, this pack gets downloaded with Forge.

After that, the system seem to finally recognize that you have "downloaded" the version and you can use it on every other pack you wish.

 

But to be fair I didn't made much effort so far to search for a fix because the whole MC-section of the Twitch-Launcher is broken since the beginning.

Update to a modern version of Minecraft to receive support.
