Hello there! How do I register custom BiomeProvider type, as now it's constructor is private?
Greetings!

It doesn't have a constructor because the class is abstract (well, it has an implicit, empty, public constructor that you can't invoke). You need to either extend it or call new on the existing subclasses (all of which have public constructors).

Apparently I'm a complete and utter jerk and come to this forum just like to make fun of people, be confrontational, and make your personal life miserable.  If you think this is the case, JUST REPORT ME.  Otherwise you're just going to get reported when you reply to my posts and point it out, because odds are, I was trying to be nice.

Exception: If you do not understand Java, I WILL NOT HELP YOU and your thread will get locked.

DO NOT PM ME WITH PROBLEMS. No help will be given.

Hmmm are you sure you're talking about BiomeProviderType? Cause nothing that you're telling me is... true?

BiomeProviderType:

Spoiler

public class BiomeProviderType<C extends IBiomeProviderSettings, T extends BiomeProvider> extends net.minecraftforge.registries.ForgeRegistryEntry<BiomeProviderType<?, ?>> {
   public static final BiomeProviderType<CheckerboardBiomeProviderSettings, CheckerboardBiomeProvider> CHECKERBOARD = func_226841_a_("checkerboard", CheckerboardBiomeProvider::new, CheckerboardBiomeProviderSettings::new);
   public static final BiomeProviderType<SingleBiomeProviderSettings, SingleBiomeProvider> FIXED = func_226841_a_("fixed", SingleBiomeProvider::new, SingleBiomeProviderSettings::new);
   public static final BiomeProviderType<OverworldBiomeProviderSettings, OverworldBiomeProvider> VANILLA_LAYERED = func_226841_a_("vanilla_layered", OverworldBiomeProvider::new, OverworldBiomeProviderSettings::new);
   public static final BiomeProviderType<EndBiomeProviderSettings, EndBiomeProvider> THE_END = func_226841_a_("the_end", EndBiomeProvider::new, EndBiomeProviderSettings::new);
   private final Function<C, T> factory;
   private final Function<WorldInfo, C> settingsFactory;

   private static <C extends IBiomeProviderSettings, T extends BiomeProvider> BiomeProviderType<C, T> func_226841_a_(String p_226841_0_, Function<C, T> p_226841_1_, Function<WorldInfo, C> p_226841_2_) {
      return Registry.register(Registry.BIOME_SOURCE_TYPE, p_226841_0_, new BiomeProviderType<>(p_226841_1_, p_226841_2_));
   }

   private BiomeProviderType(Function<C, T> p_i225746_1_, Function<WorldInfo, C> p_i225746_2_) {
      this.factory = p_i225746_1_;
      this.settingsFactory = p_i225746_2_;
   }

   public T create(C settings) {
      return (T)(this.factory.apply(settings));
   }

   public C func_226840_a_(WorldInfo p_226840_1_) {
      return (C)(this.settingsFactory.apply(p_226840_1_));
   }
}

1. Class is not abstract
2. It has a private constructor with some arguments
3. Cannot extend it as it's constructor is private

I misread.

Anyway, if you look at the class you'd see this:

public T create(C settings) {
    return (T)(this.factory.apply(settings);
}

Notice the name of the function. "Create" as in "get me a new one."
