how to have duplicate mods?

so there is this mod by SWDteam called the Dalek mod there is also a classic version for 1.7.10 and I would like to have some of the removed features but with the latest updates as-well. 

"you have mod sources that are duplicate within your system. I play on a Mac so I cannot edit the files can anyone help with this?
