Installing Earlier versions of Forge doesn't work for me

At first I tried to install Forge for Minecraft 1.15.2, and it installed and worked. Then I decided I wanted some mods for Minecraft 1.12.2 and Installed Forge 1.12.2. It downloads and says it's in my launcher, yet when I go to my launcher, it doesn't show up.

1.12 is no longer supported on this forum due to age.
