Hello,

I've got  a block which outputs a message when you right click it. But its doing it twice? Why does this happen?

Here is my code:

	public boolean onBlockActivated(World par1World, int par2, int par3, int par4, EntityPlayer par5EntityPlayer, int par6, float par7, float par8, float par9) {
	par5EntityPlayer.addChatMessage("Chat Message");

	return true;
}

Does anybody know why this happens?

Minecraft is a Client-Server environment. It gets called once on the client and once on the server.

Use world.isRemote to check for the client side.

 

Or !world.isRemote for server side.
